Colors of Fall

I have always loved the colors of fall. Especially at that turning point when some trees still bear some green and the array of colors is the greatest. Some areas around here are starting reach that point. I've been meaning to get out and play with my new camera to see what I can capture. Today wasn't the sunniest day...but maybe that's good. It made for some really fall-like photos.

Here are a few:

Hopefully I'll get back out for more photos before the leaves totally turn!

Etsy Spotlight~ Frozen in Time

I am incredibly excited to introduce you to an awesome new Etsy seller. I have to admit, I discovered this shop through the Daily Ditties at Wickedly Chic.

Frozen in Time is a shop full of truly unique pendants. These pendants are photographic images from inside of kaleidescopes, mounted in acrylic pendants. Absolutely stunning!!

Fall/Winter Color Forecast

As much as conformity bugs me...I have given some thought to these colors. After a long car trip this weekend, I have combed my bead catalogs and planned my fall lines.

I have always been a fan of the blue/green shades like "Blue Jay", "Marine" and "Peacock". Quite honestly, this pallette of colors is wonderful. I plan to be working with a lot of blue this fall and winter. But I certainly will not be neglecting the golden and brown tones of the "Topaz", "Cream Soda", "Cornsilk" and "Cola".

I hope to be introducing my fall lines in early August.
